Dr. Allison Cuoco is an Arizona licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist. She earned her PhD in Educational Psychology from Arizona State University. Dr. Cuoco has practiced as a school psychologist in Phoenix, Arizona for over 10 years. In addition to her work in the school district, Dr. Cuoco teaches for the University of Arizona School Psychology program in Chandler, Arizona. She has worked extensively with children and families, and has firsthand knowledge of the educational system as it relates to working with children with special needs. Dr. Cuoco has a strong assessment background in the areas of learning disabilities, Autism, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and social/emotional difficulties. She has also developed and facilitated skills groups in the school to address areas of need such as social skills, anxiety, organizational issues, and anger. She has an interest in helping children, families, and teachers identify potential skill deficits which are impeding a child’s academic, social and emotional success. Dr. Cuoco also has an interest in providing direct interventions for these areas of need to help teach the children and families strategies to build and develop these skill deficits. Dr. Cuoco is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists.
